Frequently Asked Questions
What is a tilt-shift lens used for?
A tilt-shift lens allows you to manipulate the plane of focus (tilt) and correct perspective distortions (shift), which is ideal for architectural and landscape photography.
Can I use this Canon FD TS lens on a digital camera?
Yes, with a suitable adapter, this lens can be mounted on various mirrorless digital cameras, allowing you to utilize its unique functions on modern bodies.
What does S.S.C. mean for this Canon lens?
S.S.C. stands for Super Spectra Coating, Canon’s advanced multi-coating technology from that era, which enhances color balance and reduces flare.
Why does the description mention 'light dust' in the glass?
Due to the movable elements of tilt-shift lenses, minor dust particles can naturally enter over time. These are age-appropriate and do not affect image quality.
