The Leica APO-Summicron-M 2/90mm ASPH (11884, 6-bit coded) is one of the most exceptional telephoto lenses in the entire M lineup – renowned for its extreme sharpness, APO correction and superb optical consistency.

This copy is in very good used condition, with light wear on the focus ring, aperture ring and the built-in retractable lens hood.

The front element shows very fine, central hairline scratches, which are purely cosmetic and have no effect on optical performance. The rest of the glass is clean.

When the focus ring is turned quickly, a sound may occur that could be mistaken for slight “scraping”. This is not a defect.
It is caused by air displacement inside the heavy APO optical group, which escapes through the helicoid during rapid focusing.
→ When focusing slowly, this sound is not audible.

Comes with the original leather case.
